Fairweather Farmgate’s own gardens yield full tasting, rich, produce as natural as you will ever find. We also have started doing jars of our produce, Jackie’s enjoying making biscuits, slices, granola, once the recipes have been tweaked enough in the ‘farmstore lab’ you’ll find the favourites under the ‘Cookie Girl Biscuit’ range in stores (Dindi Naturals-Yarck, Grant Street Grocer-Alexandra) and Paddy is working on a Spice range including Spiced Nuts. Every bite will dazzle your tastebuds.
You’ll find the Farmgate at 1556 Goulburn Valley Highway Thornton. Most of the year, most days. Except Winter – true to her name, the Fairweather store finds its too cold & damp during winter, but you can find all the tasting treat and savoury sauces at Lavender Hill Florist in the main street of Alexandra – 95 Grant St. Mon – Fri 9am – 5pm, Sat 9am -1pm
‘We cannot be free if our food and its sources are controlled by someone else. The condition of the passive consumer of food is not a democratic condition. One reason to eat responsibly is to live free.’ – Wendell Berry.
